A Mentoring Program

We The Teachers FAQ |
| Disclaimer: We do not propose to have all the answers
nor represent ourselves as legal advisors. Any information provide in the
Field of Dreams site is meant to assist our growing businesses, not to
place ourselves in legal battle. Enter at your own risk! All comments are
welcome. Please address questions and comments to Deb
Nyberg, Webmistress . A mentor program provides an organized way of providing assistance to individuals who would otherwise be limited in their capabilities and understanding of basic business practices and environment in general. It also provides a way for individuals in business to gain greater competence and proficiency in understanding the private and commercial business and professional environment. We wish to support activities designed to (1) participate in the growth and understanding of the professional environment, (2) improve the business common sense of individuals, and (3) assist in alleviating social problems as they affect the professional achievement of Women In Business. The government office SCORE is a group of volunteer retired executives who have volunteered to mentor via email. I will caution you that these retired volunteers may not have experience in online business but can assist you in general business issues pertaining to building specific business skills. We hope to provide on-line instruction for new owners and (1) share resources with experienced women in business, (2) encourage women in business to identify and set realistic and achievable goals, (3) support each other's desire to stay or enter into business as a way to achieve their goals and improve self-esteem and (4) to create a successful atmosphere to attain growth in business and personal relationships. If you are interested in a specific topic, please let Deb Nyberg know so FoD can arrange a session for you.
