Deb...

This is an exciting site!  I just wanted to share my experiences about being a "home based business".

When I was 23, a dear friend shared BeautiControl with me.  I loved the fact that I was a winter and could wear so many pretty colors!(That was in 1984!) Color analysis is very educational and can save alot of money!!!  My husband and I decided that becoming an Image Consultant with BeautiControl would be a great tax write-off.  Little did we know the confidence and freedom it would give us!

Since that time, we've added 2 children and moved 2 times!  What's so great is that I've not had to look for outside employment everytime we moved...I just became involved in my community and built my business!  It's also been great to be able to attend our kids (Lindsey, 11, & Haley, 14) school & 4-H activities.

I am presently a Director with 75 women in our unit.  I've found the biggest challenges of being in "management" is phone time.   So I schedule 20 minutes daily to call client & consultants.  Whatever I get done, is done!

TIP:  Pay your family to help you with your business.  I've been paying Haley & Lindsey each $50 over the last year.  Then they have to pay for their school lunches, clothes, and camp fees out of their "income".  This sure beats giving out $5 here and $5 there!

I would love to introduct BeautiControl to other women over the next month...we have the best new consulant offer in June!!!

Thanks...Catherine

Hi there,

I have worked at home for two years, providing marketing and public relations services to organizations and businesses.  I was able to do this because I spent a lot of time networking at Chamber of Commerce and other events, to develop the biggest network possible.  I have also just launched an internet-based e-commerce business.  Life is good, the money keeps getting better, and working in shorts and a t-shirt balances out some of the mishaps that have occurred since I began.  I will bookmark this site because it has a lot of things I'm interested in.  Thanks for the opportunity to share.

Sincerely,
Ellen Ornato, President of SOLUTIONS
