Woman In Business: so...Confused...wanna know something?
Confused: Oh course
Confused: I want to know everything
Woman In Business: I think you have the Happy99 Worm
in You!
Confused: k
Woman In Business: you have something called "fear
of success," working on you psychologically. You don't realize it
but....it is like having the Happy99 worm in your computer. You send
out messages but don't know there is a virus attached.
Confused: You mean the Happy99 worm is in me?
Woman In Business: Yes.
Confused: yuk
Woman In Business: many business owners have it in
their system....
Confused: My God... you are right though
Confused: yuk
Woman In Business: first we were told as little girls
that we should prepare for motherhood and become a wife....play with dolls
and play house....then we were told....go to work, help your husband, take
your skills and your indoctrination into the world and make money...then
you found that no one would hire a nice little girl who plays with dolls,
nurtures and keeps a good home!
Confused: I am there.... rock bottom huh?
Woman In Business: so, you abandoned those thoughts
and indoctrination and started working on what society deemed necessary
of you then. That didn't work so you decided to go into business
for yourself.
Confused: I know
Confused: Successful Removal of Happy99
Confused: and all the other virus's business owners
have carried so long
Woman In Business: Confused, you say, "I can't afford
to come visit you today, Woman In Business." I keep saying, seek help to
reach your goals. You need to be around business owners in business
on an everyday basis. But, the Happy99 worm keeps you from seeing the trees
in the forest. Sometimes "cost involved" is costly! and, sometimes "cost
involved" isn't real and tangible! What we must always keep in mind
is that life is a gift and that the more confusion we allow in it, removes
the sheer pleasure of receiving the gift! It is our duty to stop
confusion at all cost ...which leads me into my thing which I must tell
you about you. You and I are mothers.
Confused: yes
Woman In Business: We are both wives. We are
both business business owners too. We must form a balance somewhere that
men never have to form. Had men had to form that type of balance,
they too, would be having chats such as these. Do you agree with
me so far?
Confused: I just think they don't care about this
sort of balance. So I
guess.... yes I do agree
Woman In Business: Why do you think that? Today, when
Ken heard his brother had died, he cried.
Confused: we cleared up a long long time ago; KEN
IS SPECIAL - VERY SPECIAL
Woman In Business: So, men do care.
Woman In Business: They too suffer from the image
of manhood as we suffer from the image of womanhood.
Confused: Ken does..... and a few others - right....
they do...
Woman In Business: Many of us, in our search
for independence, try to break the mold. However, it is tough for
both men and business owners. So, having said that....listen again.
I, like you, am the #1 supporter of my children. I want what is best
within this life for them. However, like I was in an airplane and
it started to crash... and the oxygen mask fell down...I would place the
oxygen mask, as instructed by the stewardess, upon my face. Then,
and only then, could I assist in helping those who can't put the mask on
themselves. Are you with me?
Confused: yes
Dear Fodreamers,
Now that I got your attention, the purpose of this message is again,
TRAINING AND EDUCATION!
Do you have a fear of success in business? Do you have the Happy99
Worm inside you where you send messages you didn't know you sent?
Do others tell you they see things from you that you didn't see?
Have you put too much on your plate and never seem to be organized in
your business? Are you trying to do everything in the business yourself
on a daily basis...and run a top-shape personal life too? Who do
you think you are, SUPERWOMAN? I THINK NOT!
We, as business owners in business, need to nurture ourselves a bit
more than we do. We are concerned at all times about being successful,
but yet, at the same time, put obstacles in our way to prevent us from
success! It is called FEAR OF SUCCESS and many a book has been written
on it.
There are some of us in bad marriages, with abuse, gambling, and alcoholism
running havoc within our lives yet at the same time we are trying to develop
and operate a business? Our teenagers are running on
the road of rebellion, and we don't have money enough to buy a box
of Calgon to "take us away!" We think we can change those people
and be responsible for their actions...and we aren't even taking care of
ourselves! What we are doing in those type cases is putting self-inflicted
obstacles in our path for success. We share our stories of woe with
our friends and they say to us, "no one could live under those circumstances!"
So, we validate our self-inflicted failure from the onset insuring our
failure at the same time but knowing that everyone expected it anyway...as
they couldn't do it themselves! Anyone would fail in that situation...so
we covered our butts, huh? WRONG! WHAT WE DID IS INSURE WE
CAN'T SUCCEED!
Well, how in the world did all that happen to us in the first place?
Is it our fault? Did we make a mistake of judgment on who to marry,
or did we make a wrong decision in forming the business, or is it KARMA?
I think NOT!
IF WE ARE STRUGGLING WITH SUCCESS, something from within us makes us
do what we do.. We are in control of our own lives. We have
to learn to say No....in a healthy way. We need to delegate tasks
and authority within our businesses and personal life. We need to
make others accountable for their actions. WE NEED TO REMOVE OBSTACLES
from our success.... We need to nurture ourselves and do only good
things and reward ourselves and bask in our success!
BUT, FIRST WE NEED TO SEE THE OBSTACLES IN OUR PATH!!!!
Let us share how we see obstacles in our lives, and how we were able
to make our mistakes of the past become Lessons In Life! Let us understand
that LIVING A MISTAKE is not LIVING! BUILDING A BUSINESS WITHOUT
A SOLID FOUNDATION will crush you when it falls!
Let's work together, here in the FoDbusiness maillist to insure the
successful operations of business owners owned businesses. Let's
remove the obstacles which detain us and "keep us ladies in our places!"
Start today looking at everything that is keeping you from being a successful
woman in business and winning the reward!
Let me end this with a little story:
Two bulls, a young bull and an older bull, were on the top of a hill.
The young bull said to the old bull, "Let's run down there and make love
to one of those cows!" The older bull said, "why don't we just walk
down there and make love to all of them?"
Sometimes running isn't as good as walking slowly and repeaping a better
amount of reward. Let's walk towards success together. All
our problems didn't occur overnight and they will not be fixed overnight.
To your success,
Deb Nyberg, Webmistress |
