Should the dreamers all stop dreaming,
what a sad day that would be.
This world would keep on turning,
though somewhat aimlessly.
The skies would surely darken,
and gloom would reign supreme.
This world would be a cold, dark place,
if the dreamers didn't dream.
If dreamers all stopped dreaming,
I can state without a doubt,
no more would children wonder,
what life is all about.
Tears would fill the ocean,
the rivers and the streams.
This life would be quite meaningless,
if the dreamers didn't dream.
